Sierra Experts Named an OpenAI Select Partner

OpenAI Select Partner

We have some news we’re proud to share: Sierra Experts has been named an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network.

For most of the business leaders we work with, the question about AI isn’t whether it matters. It’s how to use it without creating new security headaches, new data risks or one more vendor to manage. That’s what this news is really about. As an OpenAI Select Partner, we will continue working with OpenAI to help organizations build, deploy, and scale AI solutions responsibly and effectively, and we’ll do it inside the same managed IT relationship our clients already count on. This work will help organizations put GPT-6 Astra to work across more of their business, using deeper reasoning and computer use to complete complex workflows and deliver finished work.

What is the OpenAI Partner Network?

The OpenAI Partner Network is a global program for partners to build, sell, and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. It brings together partners with deep industry expertise, delivery capabilities, and customer relationships, and equips them with resources, enablement, and support to help organizations adopt OpenAI frontier models and products and turn them into measurable impact. You can learn more about the program at https://openai.com/business/partners/.

What this means for our clients

AI works best when it’s treated like any other part of your technology: planned, secured and supported. That’s how we’ll approach it.

  • One accountable partner. Your AI work sits alongside the managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud and Microsoft 365, and custom software development services we already deliver. No hand-offs between vendors and no finger-pointing.
  • Security and data governance first. Before an AI tool touches your business, we’ll help you think through who can access what, where your data lives, and what policies your team needs. For healthcare organizations handling sensitive information and manufacturers protecting their processes, those questions come first.
  • A fit with how you already work. Many of our clients run on Microsoft 365. We’ll help you consider how AI tools fit with your existing accounts, permissions and files, rather than adding something that works around them.
  • The same in-house team. Our support is 100% in-house, people actually answer the phones, and our 24/7 proactive monitoring fixes issues before they become emergencies. That same care carries over to the AI tools you adopt.

What could this look like in practice? Every organization is different, but possibilities include drafting and summarizing documents, reports and emails; searching internal knowledge such as procedures, policies and manuals; and helping with routine workflows that take up your team’s time. For custom software clients, it could also mean exploring AI features in the applications we build together. We’ll start with your goals and your risks, and recommend only what makes sense for you.

The people behind it

This milestone was led by Stacy Freshwater’s extensive OpenAI certification work, which set the pace for our whole team. Thank you, Stacy. We plan to keep investing in OpenAI training and enablement for our team, so the people who already support your technology are ready to support your AI, too.

A word from our CEO

“Being named an OpenAI Select Partner means our clients can bring AI into the same accountable relationship they already count on for their IT. Stacy’s extensive OpenAI certification work led the way for our team, and we’re ready to help organizations put OpenAI’s products to work responsibly, with the same in-house team that supports the rest of their technology,” said Bruce E. Freshwater, CEO, Sierra Experts.
