There’s a special mix of skills that make up a successful inside sales representative. They must be driven, personable, and possess the logic and intellect to find the right solution to any problem quickly. In this month’s employee spotlight, one of Sierra’s most successful inside sales representatives, Louis Kuntz, is being featured.
Louis notes that in his position he enjoys getting to know people from varied industries and backgrounds. The real challenge lies in identifying the pain points someone may be experiencing through a brief phone call or meeting, but the reward is worth it. Louis mentions,
“Whether Sierra is the right choice to solve a prospective customer’s problem, or if another solution exists, it’s really gratifying to be able to help someone find direction. Leads are really surprised by how candid our team is. I know that sometimes sales representatives get a bad reputation for being pushy, so we just give advice based on our experiences, even if that means suggesting another solution provider. That way, when that person has another problem, they’ll know who to call. Usually, though, our pricing and quality makes Sierra the best option.”
Before joining the team at Sierra, Louis attended Duquesne University, where he attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management. Louis is a laid back and funny guy who’s spent his life in Pittsburgh, PA. Naturally, as a Pittsburgh native, Louis loves the local sports teams. He attends Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins games at every opportunity. He also understands the importance of personal health and fitness, making it a top priority. He spends a significant portion of his free time playing racquetball and bowling, as well.
Louis says that he really enjoys working at Sierra Experts, and understands why the company has been selected as one of the Best Places to Work in PA every year since inception. The culture, he notes, is really one of the best parts of his work (that, and his office with a view). In the future, Louis notes that his goal is to earn a management position in sales.
