1. Heinz History Center Ticket Giveaway
We have the honor of having The Heinz History Center as a customer, so in June of 2018, we asked our social media followers to let us know their favorite thing about Pittsburgh and then we picked someone to win 4 free tickets! #Perks
2. Sierra Family Tree
At Sierra, we consider ourselves more than a team – we’re a family. There have been some additions to our team since this post in May of last year, but that’s because our family tree is always growing and flourishing.
3. Take Your Child to Work Day
Some people consider their pets children, so at Sierra, we welcome children and pets alike on Take Your Child to Work Day!
4. National Pet Day
It’s a no-brainer that people love animals. Much like the last post, we shared pictures of our employees’ pets for National Pet Day, and it was a big hit.
5. Santa Hotline
Every holiday season we promote our “Sierra Santa Hotline” for families and children to have some fun by calling “Santa” and telling them what’s on their wish list. Try it out during the 2019 holiday season!
6. Named “Largest Pittsburgh-Area Technology Consultant” by PBT

7. Meet the CEO
We celebrated National Boss’s Day last year with a “Meet The CEO” post introducing our fearless leader, Bruce Freshwater. Read his bio here.
8. Froggy Radio’s Fall Backyard Concert Series Sponsorship
Fun fact: Froggy Radio is our upstairs neighbor in our office building! We sponsored their “Fall Backyard Concert Series” in 2018 which turned out to be a big hit.
9. Fall For Your Library Sponsorship/Event
The Sierra team loves to give back to our community. Last year, as well as in years prior, we sponsored the Western Allegheny Community Library’s “Fall For Your Library” fundraising event.
10. Named a “Veteran-Owned Small Business”
Last but not least, quite possibly one of our most proud moments of 2018, we were officially verified as a Veteran-Owned Small Business.
